Weeks 14-15: Sept 20th - Oct 3rd

During the past two weeks, Jacob began printing the remaining parts required to assemble the project. This includes the tilt motor mount and the vertical arm mount. These CAD drawings of these parts are pictured below.

These parts, attached to the chassis, are shown in the pictures below.

As can be seen, the vertical arm mount attaches to the chassis via a lazy Susan and a previously printed chassis mount. The lazy Susan keeps the pressure off of the rotation motor while the the vertical arm rotates. The tilt motor mount holds the tilt motor in place while it tilts the microphone up and down. With the printing of these parts, the main parts of the project are now able to be assembled and wire connections made.
