Week 19: Oct 25th - 31st

This week Jacob finished assembling the chassis and wiring all of the connections. Preliminary testing was completed using the up/down and rotation movement of the arm. The tilt motor mount, however needs to be reprinted as there is a defect in the mount that will not allow it to adhere to the PVC pipe correctly. An ON/OFF switch was attached between the battery and the rest of the components to simplify the on/off procedure of the project. While doing preliminary tests of the arm with the program some bugs were discovered in which the program crashes when buttons are held down too long. These bugs will be investigated and corrected in the following weeks.
